What should I bring?
Bring sunblock, slippers, a change of clothes, and most importantly, the email confirmation together with your indemnity form (hard copy) and identification (NRIC/Matriculation Card/Driving License).
Is there a minimum age requirement?
The age requirement of participants for both Beach Fiesta and Beach Games is 16 years old and above, as of 17th February 2019.
What time should I come?
Registration for Beach Fiesta starts at 0930 hrs*. Participants for Beach Games will be allocated a staggered reporting time which will be sent to them via email closer to event day.

What will happen if it rains?
Surf N Sweat will still go on regardless of rain or shine! The event will only be cancelled under extreme weather conditions (eg. Haze with dangerously high PSI levels).
Will I be covered with insurance?
Surf N Sweat 2019 only provides minimal personal accidents insurance coverage for the participants. Participants play at their own risk and organisers shall not be liable for any bodily injuries, loss and/or damage to property, whether personal or otherwise, and however arising.
What if I do not bring my NRIC/Matriculation Card/Driving License?
We regret to inform you that we will not be able to verify and proceed with the registration without any identification material.
Where can I deposit my personal belongings on the event day?
Bag deposit counters are available but limited to Beach Fiesta participants ONLY and yes, it's free! Bag deposit are available for Beach Games participants at a top up of $5. Please note that we will not be responsible for any loss or damage of items during the event.
Am I eligible to participate in more than one category/event?
Yes, you are! However, the organisers will not be held accountable for any clashes between the events.
If I cannot make it for my event, can my friend replace me instead?
For any addition/substitution of players after the submission of registration forms, please contact our Registration Officer, Annabell Woon at +65 9735 7601. Any changes made before 9th February 2019, 2359 hrs, will be free of charge.
Any changes made after 9th February 2019, 2359 hrs to 16th February 2019, 2359 hrs will incur an administrative fee of $10. Payment can ONLY be made via Paynow. A screenshot of the e-receipt should be sent to Annabell at +65 9735 7601. Changes are ONLY confirmed upon successful payment received by Annabell.
For change of players on the event day itself, an administrative fee of $12 applies and a receipt will be issued upon cash payment. No change of players can be made after registration of teams on event day.
What if I am unable to participate in Surf N Sweat and have already registered, how can I collect my goodie bag and event singlet?
You will only be able to collect your goodie bag on the event day itself. If you wish to send a proxy to help with your collection on the day itself, he/she will have to bring along the LOA form and present it on the day itself at the registration booth.
Do I get a refund if I choose not to participate after registering?
Unfortunately, there will be no refund for those who choose to withdraw.
What should I wear on the event day?
Participants are required to wear the Surf N Sweat singlet for identification purposes.
What is the declaration/waiver clause?
I consent to participate in Surf N Sweat 2019. I agree to hold NTU Sports Club, Surf N Sweat Committee, Palawan Beach, Sentosa and the officers, free of any liability whatsoever (including but not limited to) for loss of life or injury to person or loss or damage to property or goods whatsoever and howsoever occurred during Surf N Sweat 2019. I further agree to keep the above mentioned indemnified from and against all claims, actions, judgments, damage, losses and expenses whatsoever and howsoever arising from Surf N Sweat 2019. I hereby certify that I will abide by the rules and regulations of Surf N Sweat 2019. I do also declare that I am medically fit to take part in the Surf N Sweat 2019 with full knowledge of the consequences that may arise from my participation in the event and do hereby, for myself, my executors, administrators and assigns, covenant with the organisers and the sponsors to release them from any claims I may have against them in the event of an injury, fatal or otherwise, that I may suffer as a result of my participation. I also agree that the decision of the Organising Committee is final and that no appeal will be entertained.
Are there any height and weight requirements for Beach Fiesta?
Participants need to have a minimum height of 1.2m, and fall under the maximum weight of 90kg.
How many times can I play?
One admission ticket entitles you to an unlimited number of rounds on all our main event activities!
What happens if my teammate is late? Will the team still be able to register?
As long as the minimum requirements of male and female participants on court are met, teams will still be able to register. Latecomers must report to the help desk when they arrive.
What if a team member is unable to be present on the event day?
We will only allow a change of member only if the LOA form is presented at the registration booth on the day itself. Do note that an administrative free of $12 will be charged for each player that is being substituted on event day itself. Change of players have to be informed upon registration on the event day. No change of players will be allowed after the team has registered on the event day.
What if my team (without a reserve player) wishes to add in another member on the event day itself?
We will allow additional team players to be registered with an administration fee of $12 per player.
What happens if I am unable to finish my game due to injuries/unforeseen circumstances?
You may choose to substitute yourself with a reserve player in your team. If there are no reserve players, the game can continue as long as the team strength is not crippled by more than one player. If the minimum number of females on court is not met, the game can still continue with a handicap. Should the team be crippled by more than one player, a walkover will occur and no refunds will be given.
