Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is Surf N Run?

Surf N Run is an event where participants are to complete a Surf route of approximately 300m and a Run route of approximately 5km.

2. Where is the Start Point and Finish Point?

Start Point and Finish Point for all races will be at Siloso Beach, Sentosa.

3. What time does each Race Start?

Details will be sent to participants' emails along with the Rules and Regulations.

4.Am I eligible to participate in more than one category / event (Main Event & Side Event)?

Yes. However, if any of the events is clashed with another, Organisers will not be held responsible. For Surf n Hunt II, participants can only take part in one category.

5. Am I eligible for 2 prizes if I qualify for both?

Yes.


6. What if I am injured during the race or otherwise unable to finish the race?

Safety precautions are taken. Participants who are injured and are unable to finish the race can seek for medical attention from stationed marshals or manned first aid post. A participant will be considered disqualified should he/she fail to complete the race.

7. Where can I find a detailed map of the route?

It will be uploaded on our website around mid February.

8. When is the ‘Early Bird Period’ and ‘Normal Period’?

Early Bird Period is till 22nd January 2012. Normal Period is from 23rd January to 13th February 2012.

9. When does the registration close?

13th February 2012.

10. If any of the team member cannot make it for the race due to last minute commitments or sustains any injury on race day, can we get a replacement?

No. Race category and race entry are strictly non-transferable. Despite to their disadvantage of decreased team strength, the team is still allowed to carry on.


11. Will there be a race pack collection?

No. There is no race pack for Surf N Sweat, only the goodie bag which will be given on the day itself.


12. Do I get a refund if I choose not to participate after registration?

No. There will be no refund if participants choose to withdraw.

 

13. Am I able to transfer from one category to another?

No. Changing of category is not allowed once payment has been made and received.

 

14. Is there a minimum age requirment?

The minimum age requirement for participant due to the nature of the race is 16 years old as of 1st January 2012.

 

15. My partner is late, can I take part alone?

No, Mixed Events and Lovers' Challenge requires 2 persons to be present in order to take part.
